Building Services Engineers
Formed in 1995, The Engineering Support Partnership Ltd (ESP) are building services engineers with an ever increasing focus on renewable energy and energy efficiency -based technologies. Our areas of expertise include biomass heating, combined heat and power (both large-scale and micro-CHP), trigeneration, air and ground source heat pumps, air conditioning and general building services engineers applications, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. With long term clients such as Nestle, NHS Trusts and the MoD we have developed a distinct support service designed to integrate with our clients and our own engineering resources.
Our team of building services engineers, project managers and consultants offer a comprehensive range of engineering services including design, project management and installation, as well as bespoke consultancy services such as renewable energy opportunity assessments and technical and financial feasibility studies. Whether you are looking for a full turn-key package or an individually tailored bespoke service, ESP's building services engineers can meet your requirements; the ability to identify project opportunities and develop innovative solutions has always been our strength. As one of a small number of consultants focusing on trigeneration for data centres we are able to provide you with advice and guidance to take your project forward.

ESP has also been an accredited Carbon Trust consultant since 1999 and our Director Don Lord currently represents the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and the United Kingdom on the British standards Institute (SME1) and has worked on the development of energy standards such as BS EN 16001 and BS EN 15001, at both national and international levels.Building services engineers. In addition Don is the Chair for NERA the North East Renewable Alliance. |
ESP (Building Services Engineers) is a Certified Installer for Biomass, Heat Pumps and Micro-CHP systems under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme; this enables our clients to access payments under the Feed in Tariff (FIT). Use of an MCS Certified Installer is also likely to be a requirement under the Renewable Heat Incentive when it is introduced. Building services engineers look at the full range of services from the perspective of a mechanical engineer in addition to electrical engineering, building services engineers are well placed to deliver renewble techniologies such as trigeneration, cogeneration, CHP, microCHP, biofuel installations.
ESP is also an accredited as building services engineers Designer and Contractor under CHAS (the Contractor Health and Safety Scheme), and is registered under the Constructionline scheme.
