ESP is one of a limited number of companies approved as a Carbon Trust Biomass Consultant, and is also an MCS Certified Installer of CHP and biodiesel CHP. Offering project managment, design and consultantcy services for biomass systems including biodiesel chp or biofuel chp, we offer a full range of services relating to woodchip, wood pellet and bespoke biomass heating systems, including feasibility studies, system design, installation and project management, and can undertake all elements of the project from concept through to handover and beyond. Biomass heating is a mature, proven technology and has been used successfully for many years in countries such as Austria, Finland and Denmark. At ESP we only install boilers and equipment that are fully certified and compliant with all environmental and safety standards. As ESP is not aligned to any particular boiler manufacturer, we can ensure that the optimum solution is offered to all clients. Biodiesel chp offers a method of reducing carbon generation by using biodiesel chp to generate power whilst allowing income from ROC's.

Our independence from boiler manufacturers. biodiesel chp manufacturers and distributors means that we can offer a range of boilers, including Binder, Kob, Hargassner, Heizomat and P&H. As consultants to BT we have undertaken delailed design and selection for biodiesel chp and gas fired chp. biodiesel chp offers a means of income generation via ROC income and tax alliviation.

Our company has successfully delivered a number of large-scale biomass heating projects, including a 500kW district heating scheme at Barony Agricultural College in Dumfries & Galloway and an 800kW woodchip system at HM Naval Base Clyde. We have also completed designs for biodiesel chp, smaller wood pellet and woodchip systems in applications such as communal heating, sheltered housing schemes, large rural dwellings and hotels.
